Reeve Family and Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Have Been Friends and Supporters of Crotched Mountain's Students and Its Mission
It is with great sorrow that we mark the passing of Dana Reeve and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Dana, her husband Christopher and everyone at the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation have been wonderful friends and supporters of Crotched Mountain. Crotched Mountain and our clients have benefited from foundation grants that helped support our accessible tree house, our wheelchair adaptive dance program and the Harry Greg Foundation, which makes grants to people with physical disabilities.
We were tremendously grateful when Dana came to Crotched Mountain in 2004 and took part in the tree house dedication. She recognized the tree house as a symbol of how barriers in life can be removed through imagination and strength of will, just as she and her husband worked together to overcome the barriers in their lives. Her warmth and limitless spirit touched everyone who had the honor of meeting her.
