Staff Profiles - Sandra Knapp, RN

SANDRA KNAPP, RN, Director of Nursing, is a Registered Nurse who worked for 27 years for the State of New Hampshire with mentally ill and developmentally disabled adult/elderly before coming to Crotched Mountain; six of those years were in direct care and administrative nursing positions, and twenty-one years were as administrator of Glencliff Home for the Elderly. She received an Associate's Degree from NHTI, a Bachelor's Degree from Plymouth State University, and has earned advanced certifications from the ANA in Nursing Management, and from the ACHCA as a Certified Nursing Home Administrator, Fellow. Sandy served seven years on the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and has been very active around special education issues at both the state and local level.
