J CHRISTOPHER McCARTIE, MD, is a pediatrician and Director of Pediatric Care at CMRC. Dr. McCartie received his medical degree in 1989, and in 1992, completed his residency at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He has provided pediatric care at Crotched Mountain since October 1997, and was a primary care pediatrician at Monadnock Regional Pediatrics since July 1998. "After splitting my days between CMRC and a busy office practice, I am very happy to devote my time to meeting the daily medical needs of our residential students and coordinating their specialty care," expresses Dr. McCartie. "I have always been inspired by the challenges involved in working with students with special needs and with the others who care for them."
