Harry Gregg Foundation Announces New Funding Guidelines
In an effort to better focus on the original goals of the Harry Gregg Foundation, the Trustees have set new funding guidelines in regard to income limits and the kind of projects we will fund.
The Harry Gregg Foundation will no longer provide funding for
-
The purchase of used vehicles other than certain handicap modified vehicles
-
Medical co-pays and deductibles
-
Heating fuel
-
Dental care or dentures
-
Hearing aids
-
Lift chairs
-
Projects with costs exceeding 25% of the largest HGF grant or $1200. For example, a request of $1200 for a project totaling $20,000 would not be considered unless the applicant can show requests pending from other sources, in addition to the Harry Gregg Foundation.
Applicants with income levels above 125% of the New Hampshire Basic Needs and Livable Wage Scale developed by the UNH Office of Economic Initiative and the North County Council will not be considered for funding.
