The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) is the umbrella organization for the 655 area agencies on aging (AAAs) and more than 230 Title VI Native American aging programs in the U.S. Through its presence in Washington, D.C., n4a advocates on behalf of the local aging agencies to ensure that needed resources and support services are available to older Americans. The fundamental mission of the AAAs and Title VI programs is to provide services which make it possible for older individuals to remain in their home, thereby preserving their independence and dignity
This site shares our first hand experience in dealing with elder care. This site is for you! If you are going through this process now or just thinking about it, let our first hand experience at least help you become more efficient along the way. We will share what we learned, resources that were helpful and those that were not. We discuss our pitfalls, the emotional roller coaster, the decision process, the path we took, the financial impact, the setbacks and the triumphs. The journey we undertook in discovery that our mother-Martha's journey would be both painful and rewarding.
Our Senior Care Directory is free to anyone and everyone, and provides a comprehensive listing of resources by state in seven categories: housing resources, transportation resources, home care, end-of-life care, legal resources, financial planning and management, and health care. Your visitors will also be able to access our articles that include how-to guides and even a blog on senior care issues. Again, the directory as well as our articles and blog are free to anyone and everyone, and have been an extremely valuable resource in the past.

The CareGivers, Inc. mission is to assist the frail, elderly, and disabled in order that they may maintain their independence and dignity. The progams goal is to provide non-medical support to the frail, elderly, and disabled of the Greater Nashua and Greater Manchester areas, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity. CareGivers also provides a personal presence for individuals who have little or no personal contact with others. We provide service to individuals who may not receive aide through the human service system and do not qualify for government-assisted programs or sliding fees. We also provide service to those individuals who may be receiving assistance from other agencies, but have additional needs which have gone unmet.
Individuals most commonly served by services, within the home and community, are seniors, adults with a physical disability or chronic illnessthat continue to live independently in their homes.
The National Alliance for Caregiving is dedicated to providing support to family caregivers and the professionals who help them and to increasing public awareness of issues facing family caregivers.
The National Family Caregivers Association educates, supports, empowers and speaks up for the more than 50 million Americans who care for loved ones with a chronic illness or disability or the frailties of old age. NFCA reaches across the boundaries of diagnoses, relationships and life stages to help transform family caregivers' lives by removing barriers to health and well being.
