Your Acceptance Letter has been sent to you by mail and by email. It lists your travel dates, start and finish dates for each placement and any department rotation information. Read the Acceptance Letter carefully and all other information shared in these pages and listed hyperlinks. If you have not already done so, send an email to confirm whether or not you wish to accept the offer as described. There may be some flexibility with some details but not with others. Please send all email correspondence to internships@crotchedmountain.org This will send the email to more than one person and will help us to send you a prompt response.

Program Dates:

There may be some flexibility with program dates. Your last day in program and your departure date from the US are assumed to be the same day. When this happens we make the previous day your last day in program to facilitate your travel arrangements. Program participants are permitted to travel in the USA for up to 30 dates after the program end date. If you wish to avail of this opportunity, please contact IVS with your proposed new date of departure from the USA. Do NOT change any date on your YMCA application, as these changes must be made by Crotched Mountain. Staying for all or part of the 30-day period requires you to pay YMCA for medical insurance coverage for the additional time in the USA – again, these changes on the YMCA application will be made by Crotched Mountain. Program participants must vacate their rooms at Crotched Mountain within 72 hours of the end of program. An early departure from the program results in ineligibility for a completion certificate.
