NHAVA is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the profession of volunteer administration and strengthening the profession of volunteer administration in the State of New Hampshire through education, networking and recognition. NHAVA membership is open to any person, paid , or unpaid, in a position responsible for the administration of volunteers and volunteer service.
The Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network engages and mobilizes millions of volunteers who are helping to solve serious social problems in thousands of communities. Through a variety of programs and services, the Foundation encourages people from all walks of life businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, low-income communities, families, youth, and older adults to volunteer.
Volunteer NH! is a result of the merger of the former Governor's Council on Volunteerism, the New Hampshire Office of Volunteerism, and the New Hampshire Commission for National and Community Service. But we are more than the sum of our parts. We are Volunteer NH! Our goal is to help you whether you are a volunteer looking for an agency to volunteer with, or an organization setting-up a formal volunteer program, or a legislator looking for statistics on volunteerism rates in our state, or a corporation looking to improve on your employee volunteer program, or a non-profit wishing to expand services by setting up an AmeriCorps program.
