QUALIFICATIONS:            

·         BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or business

·         5-7 years of experience in experience in executing communications strategy and developing materials.  Education and health communications experience a plus.

·         Impeccable writing skills and exceptional editing and proofreading background

·         Excellent Communication Skills

·         Familiarity with multiple forms of content creation: video, writing for the Web, and writing for print pieces.

·         Experience with current multimedia applications as applied to content driven Web sites

·         Demonstrate expertise in creating communications material including advertising, literature, training materials, direct response cards, trade shows,  press releases and other marketing/communications collateral

·         Effective presentation skills, initiative, follow through and adherence to deadlines

DESCRIPTION:                         

Under general supervision and direction of the Vice President for Advancement, the Communication Manager is responsible for external communications for Crotched Mountain, will develop a content based communications program that uses web and other platforms that describe the work and resources of the organization using new media forms to targeted audiences. 

OTHER INFORMATION:

Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary considerably and additional hours may be required, particularly for meetings with corporate and community donor prospects and cultivation events.  Based in the Foundation Offices in Greenfield; travel is required.
