Health and dental insurance benefits are available to those full-time employees working 20 hours per week or more:


Health Insurance

Available to full-time employees working 20 hours per week or more.  We offer a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan, as well as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan in conjunction with Anthem/BlueCross Blue Shield. Plan covers wellness physicals, mammography and pre-natal care with no deductible and no co-pay. 

Dental Insurance

Available to full-time employees working 20 hours per week or more.  We provide two different plans through Delta Dental. Both options pay 100% for preventative and diagnostic services.


Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Tuition Assistance are available to those full-time employees working 30 hours per week or more:


Life Insurance

Term life provided for all qualified employees at no cost. Coverage at 1.5 times annual salary for non-exempts and 2 times annual salary for exempts; includes accidental death and dismemberment (AD+D).

Short-Term Disability

Provided for all qualified employees at no cost: 70% regular salary (fixed maximum) from 31st day through 180th day of disability.

Long-Term Disability

Available to full-time employees working 30 hours per week or more at no cost: 60% of regular salary to a fixed maximum from the 181st day of total disability.

Tuition Assistance

Available to full-time employees working 30 hours per week or more.  After 90-day orientation period, up to $2,000.00 per fiscal year. Funding dependent upon annual budget.


The following additonal benefits are available to all Crotched Mountain employees:


Employee Assistance Program

A 24-hour telephone service for the provision of professionally staffed, confidential guidance and referral service.  Provided for all employees and their immediate family members at no cost.

Employee Discounts

A number of area vendors provide discounts to Crotched Mountain employees.  Our current list includes auto dealerships, travel agencies, dry cleaners, restaurants, shops, and exercise facilities to name a few.

Finder's Fee

Recruit a new employee and, if you both remain on the Crotched Mountain staff for two short years, it will be worth $1,200.00 to you.

Notary Public

We have a number of Notaries Public on staff who can notarize documents for you.

Optional Insurance

We also offer a menu of payroll deductible automobile, renter's, homeowner's, life, and tax sheltered annuities (TSAs).  

Pension Plan

Available to active employees, 21 years of age or older, who have completed 1 year or more of service (1,000 hours of paid compensation) on December 31st.  Fully funded by Crotched Mountain: 5 year vesting after plan participation.  

Reimbursement Accounts

Up to $1,500.00 pre-tax dollars for health care expenses. Up to $5.000.00 pre-tax dollars for dependent care expenses. Complies with IRS rules.

      Non-Exempt Employees

      Less than 5 years service:   3 weeks        Less than 4 years service:   31 days
      More than 5 years service:   4 weeks        More than 4 years service:   36 days
      Holidays (annually):   10 days     
      Personal days (annually):   3 days    
      Sick days-exempt (annually):   12 days

Child Care

Crotched Mountain employees may access discounted services through Wonderworks Learning Center, our on-site child care program.

Employee Activities

The Employees Activities Committee, at the Greenfield location, is comprised of members who represent their respective departments or areas.  This committee works to arrange activities held throughout the year that all employees are welcome to attend.  These activities include, but are not limited to, special recognition events, an annual modified clambake, and holiday party.

Recreational Ammenities

Access to our swimming pools, fitness room, hiking trails, tennis courts, etc.
