W. Carl Cooley, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Crotched Mountain and Medical Director of the Center for Medical Home Improvement, is a developmental pediatrician and adjunct professor of pediatrics at the Dartmouth Medical School. He was formerly the Director of the Dartmouth Center for Genetics and Child Development and the Hood Center for Children and Families. Prior to his fellowship training in developmental pediatrics, he spent 11 years in community-based pediatric primary care. Dr. Cooley is co-author of Preventive Healthcare for Children with Genetic Conditions Providing a Primary Care Medical Home, now in its second edition. In 2006, The New Hampshire Pediatrics Society named him Pediatrician of the Year, and in 2006 he was the recipient of the Directors Award from the United States Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the Calvin Sia Leadership Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Cooley has been active in the development of state and national policy related to children on the autism spectrum and to health care reform. |
Jasper Ainslie, DDS, emigrated from Wales in 1986. He graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a biology degree and was a project leader as a research fellow in osteoporosis at the University of California, San Francisco. After graduation from New York University Dental School, in 2004, having done an honors program in oral medicine, Dr. Ainslie joined Drs. Hedstrom and Jane in their Peterborough private practice that specializes in general, family and cosmetic dentistry

Rocco Chiappini, M.D., CBIS is the Medical Director of Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital and Director of the Center of Excellence for Neurological Rehabilitation is a physiatrist and he is certified in acupuncture. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1992. Following an Internship in internal medicine at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Chiappini completed his residency at Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals. Dr. Chiappini is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Chiappini is a recipient of the Arthur Siebens Award 1996 from Johns Hopkins University. In 2003 The New Hampshire Magazine recognized him as "Top Doctor" in the field of rehabilitation physical medicine. He holds memberships in the American Society of Neurorehabilitation, American Academy of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, and Association of Academic Physiatrists. Dr. Chiappini currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire. |

J. Christopher McCartie, M.D., is a pediatrician and Director of Pediatric Care at our Children's Specialty Hospital. Dr. McCartie received his medical degree in 1989, and in 1992, completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. |

Robert Kaladish, M.D., is a pediatric psychiatrist, diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners since 1984, and diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general psychiatry since 1991; Child and Adolescent Psychiatry since 1992. Dr. Kaladish is a graduate of Yale University, 1979, and received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut Medical School in 1983. Dr. Kaladish has done postgraduate training at the McAuley Institute Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Fellowship, St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center, San Francisco, CA. He completed his residency at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington, CT and his psychiatric internship at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. |

Philip L. Sutherland, O.D., graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1986. He went into private practice for 2 years until he returned to the college as clinical director of a pediatric specialty clinic. He then served in that capacity training residents for 10 years. Around this time Dr. Sutherland also joined Nashua Eye Associates. He has been associated with Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center since 1992. He also serves as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. |

Blake Wullbrandt, DDS, Dental Director at Crotched Mountain, is a pediatric dental specialist who has been with Crotched Mountain since 2002. His educational training was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has coauthored 2 articles in the Journal of Pediatric Dentistry relating to research on the oral manifestations of pediatric HIV. Dr. Wullbrandt also has a private pediatric dental practice in Keene, NH. |
