GREENFIELD, NH Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center has become certified as an authorized provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), and can now offer continuing education units (CEUs) for all current training programs that meet the IACET criteria.
To earn its certification, Crotched Mountain completed an extensive application, has been reviewed by an IACET site visitor, and has successfully demonstrated the ability to adhere to all IACET criteria and guidelines. By agreeing to comply with established standards, Crotched Mountain may use the IACET name and logo on course promotional materials. Authorization is for a period of five years and is renewable.
"We're honored to be endorsed by IACET," remarks Crotched Mountain trustee Dr. David Hedstrom. "This achievement results from many months of work on the part of our staff, particularly Lisa Miller, continuing education coordinator, and Jodi Leah Quinn, training coordinator." Crotched Mountain strives to meet the evolving training needs of its employees and other professionals who serve people with disabilities. Among the many courses offered through Crotched Mountain are: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification; management training; instructional classes for residential staff, and personal computing.
IACET (http://www.iacet.org/) is a non-profit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs. IACET authorizes education providers that meet strict continuing education guidelines created in 1968. Its mission is to promote and enhance quality in continuing education and training through research, education, and standard setting.
Crotched Mountain is a charitable organization employing more than 900 people.
