Autism Society of NH 

Autism Society of NH Message Board This message board has been made available by the Autism Society of New Hampshire for the purpose of sharing knowledge and experiences.

Governor's Commission on Disability

The Commission's goal is to remove the barriers, architectural or attitudinal, which bar persons with disabilities from participating in the mainstream of society.

The Commission's office in Concord responds to inquiries with straight answers to persons with disabilities, service providers, legislators, and state and local officials. In an effort to eliminate barriers, the Commission provides information about the many services, laws, and regulations that affect citizens with disabilities.

The Commission also publishes a weekly newspaper column, "Beyond the Barriers", and a newsletter, THE BLUE SHEET, highlighting issues of interest to persons with disabilities and their advocates.

NH Association for the Blind

The New Hampshire Association for the Blind is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for New Hampshire people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Founded in 1912, it provides services in virtually every community statewide and at the McGreal Sight Center in Concord.

NH Bureau of Developmental Services

The NH developmental services system offers its consumers with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders a wide range of supports and services within their own communities. BDS is comprised of a main office in Concord and 10 designated non-profit and specialized service agencies that represent specific geographic regions of NH; the community agencies are commonly referred to as Area Agencies. All direct services and supports to individuals and families are provided in accordance with contractual agreements between BDS and the Area Agencies.

Lakes Region Community Services Council

We promote independence, dignity, and opportunity for the individuals and families served. We support individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain disorders, and other conditions where support will enhance a person's life and opportunities. Lakes Region Community Services is committed to the principles of family support, asset-based community development and gentle teaching. 

Community Bridges, Inc.

Community Bridges is a community-based not-for-profit agency that supports people with disabilities and their families. We serve as a bridge between challenge and opportunity, between people with disabilities and their communities.

Monadnock Developmental Services, Inc.

Area Agency of Greater Nashua, Inc.

The Area Agency of Greater Nashua, Inc. believes that all people are of great value and strives to be innovative when providing quality supports needed for individuals to lead meaningful lives in their community. The people we serve: Infants with Developmental Delays, Children & Adults with Disabilities, and Elders in Need of Support.  

Moore Center Services, Inc.

Throughout our history, Moore Center Services has provided individualized services directed at enhancing each person's quality of life. The individuals we serve live in a variety of community settings: with their own families, in a community residence, in foster care families, and in independent settings.

Region VIII Community Developmental Services Agency, Inc.

We assist people with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders to live as valued and participating members in their communities.   

Region 10 Community Support Services, Inc.

Our mission is to support people who have developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders, in partnership with families and caregivers, to enhance their independence and personal growth while fostering meaningful relationships and involvement within their communities.   

NH Service Link

The ServiceLink Resource Centers network consists of thirteen community-based ServiceLink Resource Centers and many satellite offices with the common purpose of providing information and supportive referrals about resources for older adults, adults living with disabilities, chronic illness, and their families and caregivers.  

Parent Information Center

In January of 1977, the New Hampshire Coalition for Citizens With Disabilities, Inc. established a Parent Information Center as a means of providing information, training and support to families of children with disabilities in New Hampshire. From its inception to the present, the Parent Information Center has demonstrated an ability to identify and respond to the changing needs of children and families in N.H.  

Patient Lifts of New England

Patient Lifts of New England is proud to be a regional distributor for Ergonomic Safe Patient Handling and Transfer Aids.

Enhanced Life Options

They develop and carry out enhanced life option plans for people with disabilities. We provide information, consulting, advocacy, mentoring and trust related services for the disabilities community, including special needs trusts, supplemental needs trusts, pooled trusts and trusts for independent living. Members of our group have been active in the disabilities community for many years. We are a non-profit organization committed to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. We serve all people with disabilities regardless of category of disability.

NAMI - NH

NAMI New Hampshire (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a statewide education, support and advocacy organization working for a quality, comprehensive mental health service system.

NH Family Voices

NHFV has a free lending library of over 2,000 titles of books, videos, and audio topes with a specialty in children's books on specific conditions and disabilities, sibling relationships, behavior and social issues.

Parent to Parent of New Hampshire

The mission of this website is to provide a channel of support for parents of children who have special needs.
