Below are links to some great websites that are full of useful and pertinent information for parents of children with vision loss (Family Connect), hearing loss (Hands and Voices) and deafblindness (National Family Association for Deafblind) In addition, the link to NH's Parent Information Center provides information about your child's rights as a student with a disability.

NH Parent Information Center

The Parent Information Center is a recognized leader in building strong family/school partnerships and a pioneer in promoting effective parent involvement in the special education process.

This website is sponsored by the National Association of Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI) and the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) to provide information, resources, and a chance to connect with other parents.

Hands and Voices

Hands & Voices is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families and their children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the professionals who serve them. It is a parent-driven, parent/professional collaborative group that is unbiased towards communication modes and methods.

National Family Association for Deafblind

The National Family Association for Deaf-Blind (NFADB) is a non-profit, volunteer-based family association. Our philosophy is that individuals who are deaf-blind are valued members of society and are entitled to the same opportunities and choices as other members of the community.NFADB is the largest national network of families focusing on issues surrounding deaf blindness.
