As part of its lifelong alliance to children and adults with disabilities, Crotched Mountain offers specialized clinics and therapies on an outpatient basis.  Our rehabilitation center is located on the southern slope of Crotched Mountain in Greenfield, NH; an hour from Manchester, NH and two hours from Boston.

Clinics

Assistive Technology

Individual comprehensive assessments specializing in computer access, environmental control, and technology integration. Making life accessible – body and mind – through the use of keyboards, switches, and software designed for people with disabilities. Developmental Pediatrics

Individual and multi-disciplinary diagnostic evaluations of children with developmental and behavioral disorders, including those with genetic and neurological conditions. Follow-up consultation can provide: developmental monitoring, guidance for access to community services, and psychopharmacology. Referral by pediatrician or family practitioner required. Driver Evaluation & Training

Serving individuals age 15 ½ years and older with a disabling diagnosis or condition. View and print two-page fact sheet in a pdf version or a text version. Please complete our Registration Form and return it to us care of Outpatient Services.

Hearing Clinic

Diagnostic hearing evaluations, including otoacoustic emission testing, for pediatric and adult populations. Complete hearing aid services: evaluation, fitting, counseling, instruction and repairs. Mild Brain        Injury Clinic

Sensorimotor Clinic

Twelve-week classes for children, ages 6-12, designed to improve play skills and sensory integration. View and print two-page fact sheet in a pdf version or a text version.

Swallowing Clinic

Functional assessment of swallowing disorders and development of feeding programs.

Wheelchair Clinic

A regional assessment center, improving the quality of life for persons using wheelchairs by increasing comfort and mobility. Therapies

Aquatic Therapy

Offering individual and group treatments for a wide range of conditions including: arthritis, asthma, oncology, and neurological and orthopedic impairments. Staff includes a physical therapist certified by the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute in both Aquatic Therapy and Rheumatology. Our accessible facility features a recreational pool and a heated therapy pool, equipped with a remarkable elevating floor so that the water level can be adjusted from zero to five feet.

Occupational Therapy

Assessment and treatment of patients with physical, cognitive, developmental, sensory, or perceptual deficits. Services include: orthopedic rehabilitation, splinting, development of motor skills, remediation for visuo-perceptual deficits, and the creation of programs to improve skills in activities of daily living (ADL).

Physical Therapy

Assessment, treatment and consultations for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities. Services are provided in the areas of gross motor skills, mobility training, general strengthening, relaxation/pain management, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Psychology Services

Evaluations and consultations for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Speech-Language Pathology

Assessment, direct and consultation services to enhance speech, receptive and expressive communication skills as well as cognitive skills. Services include: direct or group therapy, creation of Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, and inservice training.

Sensory Integration Therapy

Involves coordinating sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Evaluation and treatment provided by an Occupational Therapist certified to administer the Sensory Integration & Praxis Test (SIPT). View and print two-page fact sheet in a pdf version or a text version.
