Welcome to the home page of the New Hampshire Professional Development Center for Vision Education, funded by the New Hampshire Department of Education. The NH PDC for Vision Education has been established to provide in-service and pre-service educational opportunities to NH educators, related services providers and parents who are interested in learning more about best practices in the education of students who are blind or visually impaired.
The NH Vision/Hearing Network is a group of agencies and individuals with extensive background and experience in working with students with hearing impairments, vision impairments and Deafblindness. It is funded by the NH Department of Education with a combination of state and federal special education funds to provide services and supports to NH special education students with vision and/or hearing loss. The project is coordinated by ATECH Services.
The Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America: We are an interdisciplinary association of people with a common interest in technology and disability. Our purpose is to improve the potential of people with disabilities to achieve their goals through the use of technology. We serve that purpose by promoting research, development, education, advocacy and provision of technology; and by supporting the people engaged in these activities.
