GREENFIELD, NH - Ira Lexus of Manchester recently presented a $5,000 Pursuit of PotentialSM award to the Crotched Mountain Foundation in support of programs for children with multiple disabilities.

According to Crotched Mountain president Donald Shumway, the funds will be used to supplement individual grants made by an allied organization, the Harry Gregg Foundation, for children who are undergoing medical treatments. "These grants are of vital importance to low-income families who often have to travel hundreds of miles several times per month for specialized treatments and therapies," explains Shumway. "We deeply appreciate the generous donation from Ira Lexus of Manchester along with the matching gift from the Lexus corporate headquarters."

"Lexus has always been focused on the future," remarks Robert Ramos, general manager of Ira Lexus of Manchester. "That's why we support organizations and charities that improve children's lives through our Pursuit of PotentialSM initiative. Dealers across the country have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations benefiting local children's charities thanks to the Dealer Matching Funds program, whereby Lexus will match up to $1 million of its dealers' donations."

"As a resident of Greenfield myself," notes Robert Vaillancourt, general sales manager of Ira Lexus of Manchester, "I know that Crotched Mountain has been serving children with disabilities for decades. We're honored to support such a worthwhile cause."

Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose members together constitute the world's third-leading automaker. Toyota's investments in the United States amount to $12 billion, including more than 31,000 Lexus employees.
