Spinal Cord Injury Lecture on Adaptive Sports Equipment to be Telecast by Crotched Mountain in Greenfield and Manchester, NH

GREENFIELD, NH- On Monday March 3, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Crotched Mountain Foundation will provide two local telecasts of a lecture being held in Boston for people with spinal cord injuries. The local telecasts will be held at Crotched Mountain's campus in Greenfield NH and also in Manchester, NH at its accessible apartment complex, Courtyard Apartments.

The topic is "Adaptive Sports and Recreation: Exploring the Endless Opportunities Using Adaptive Equipment" with guest speaker David J. Lee, MS, CTRS/L, Assistant Director of Northeast Passage in Durham, NH. People with spinal cord injuries and medical professionals who want to learn more about adaptive recreational opportunities for their patients are invited to attend.

This lecture is part of Boston Medical Center/New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center's "Stepping Forward – Staying Informed Lecture Series". It is supported in part by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research.

"As an organization that provides rehabilitation to people with spinal cord injury, we are happy to partner with Boston Medical Center in providing convenient locations for people in New Hampshire to participate in this lecture series," says Rocco Chiappini, MD, Physiatrist and Director ofPhysical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Crotched Mountain.

The cost is $5 per person, and includes a light dinner. Guests will be able to listen to the live lecture and view the slide presentation on-screen.
