Crotched Mountain Welcomes New HUD Program Specialist

PORTLAND , ME — Lisa Goulet of Waterboro , ME has been named HUD Program Specialistfor Crotched Mountain Residential Services (CMRS), a non-profit organization that has been providing residential and day programs for adults with disabilities in communities throughout New England since 1984.

In her role she will facilitate the relationship between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and each of four accessible apartments complexes managed by Crotched Mountain : Courtyard Apartments in Manchester , NH ; Forest Avenue Apartments in Portland , ME ; Greenbush Village Apartments in East Greenbush , NY; and McIntyre School Apartments in Whitefield , NH .

Goulet recently celebrated her sixthemployment anniversary with Crotched Mountain having joined the organization in 2000as the property manager of Forest Avenue Apartments. She received her Registered Housing Manager Certification in March of 2005, from the National Center for Housing Management, and is looking forward to developing new housing opportunities in the community for people with disabilities. "I believe that Crotched Mountain has the potential to create and implement the highest model possible for barrier free living environments in different types of community housing options," says Goulet. "Working with a talented group of team members to develop plans in creating exceptional housing opportunities for people with disabilities is not only exciting but rewarding."
