 Staff Profiles - Rocco Chiappinni, MD

ROCCO CHIAPPINNI, M.D., is the Associate Medical Director of Crotched Mountain. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1992. Following an internship in internal medicine at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Chiappini completed his residency at Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals. Dr. Chiappini is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Chiappini is a 1996 recipient of the Arthur Siebens Award from Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of numerous publications including "Rational Prescription of Exercise in Managing Low Back Pain" which appeared in Critical Reviews in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
