ALISON ELLIOTT, PT, DPT, Alison is our new outpatient physical therapist and is a recent graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Franklin Pierce College, where she discovered a genuine passion for the orthopedic and neurological fields. Alison will be seeing clients with a large variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses on an outpatient basis. Alison also enjoy hiking, biking and skiing. She is excited to be joining the Crotched Mountain team.
JENNIFER FORKEY, MS, MPT, joined Crotched Mountain in 2005. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of Massachusetts at Lowell in 1999. She also earned a masters degree in Immunology and Epidemiology from Roswell Park Cancer Institute at University of Buffalo where her thesis studied breast cancer research using Immunotherapy. Jennifer developed her interest in the field working at Ohio State's Brain Injury Clinic. Her specialties include manual orthopedics, focusing on myofascial and muscle energy techniques. She is very enthusiastic about being on the research committee at Crotched Mountain.
CYNTHIA RAMSAY KRILL joined the Brain Injury Unit as a Physical Therapy Assistant in February of 2005. She maintains her interest in other skills through work with clients of the Behavioral Health Unit at Concord Hospital and the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit of Catholic Medical Center. Previously she worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Hillsboro-Deering School District and provided both OT and PT services to geriatric patients in a number of the region's long-term care facilities. Cynthia completed Associate of Science degrees in both Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physical Therapy Assistant at New Hampshire Technical College at Claremont. Her lifelong interest in natural healing led to Bachelor of Science degree in Complementary Healthcare Services from the College of Lifelong Learning (now Granite State College) and she is currently completing her Masters of Science in Human Services Administration. Cynthia is a Reiki master and has completed Upledger courses in Craniosacral Therapy.
PAMELA NATION, MPT,CBIS, CBIT is a Physical Therapist who received a BS in Biology with a minor in Fine Arts from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH where she later earned her MA in Physical Therapy. In addition to her clinical work at rehabilitation facilities in New Hampshire she brings ten years of experience as an educator at The Well School in Peterborough, NH. In her role she will be offering an outpatient rehabilitation program for people with a spinal cord injury using the state of the art therapy pool.
RHEA TAYLOR is a registered physical therapist with a BS degree from Ohio State University. She is a certified aquatic therapist with additional certification in aquatic rheumatology. She has had extensive training in myofascial release and served as an assistant instructor in the nationally known John Barnes Myofascial Release Seminars. Included in her present educational duties are back safety and transfer training, and coordination of the physical therapy internship program. Her 36 years of experience have included private practice; development of school based physical therapy programs in the local school systems, development of an outpatient program at a local nursing home, and association with program development and service provision at Crotched Mountain. Most recently, she helped create our aquatic pediatric asthma program.
