Aquatics General Rules

Crotched Mountain > Rehabilitation > Aquatics Center > AQUATICS GENERAL RULES                             

  • Persons having any communicable disease shall not be permitted to enter the pools.
  • All person(s) entering the pool MUST shower prior to  entering the pool(s).
  • Persons having open blisters, cuts, etc. are advised not to use the pools.
  • Running, boisterous or rough play or excessive noise is forbidden in the pool area, showers, or dressing area.
  • No glass containers are allowed in the pool deck or locker rooms.
  • Street shoes are NOT allowed on the pool decks. Please remove them before entering the pool areas.
  • Pool chairs ONLY are allowed on the pool deck areas.
  • No diving allowed.
  • The public is permitted to use the adjoining bathrooms, locker room, and pool area. All other areas of the school and adjoining buildings are off limits.
  • Please leave area used clean and neat.
  • All interaction with staff and students of Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center must be of a positive nature. Any questions you may have should be addressed to the care attendant.
  • Bathing suits are required.
  • Children are not allowed in the swimming pool area during lap swim.
  • Children involved in a swimming program or waiting for a program must be accompanied by an adult outside of the Recreation Pool hallway including the Gym and Media Center. Your cooperation is appreciated.
  • Ordinary diapers are not allowed in pools. Please use "swim diapers."
  • Any person(s) having had diarrhea for any reason, must refrain from using the pool, and must continue to do so for 48 hours after the last episode of diarrhea.
  • Any person(s) diagnosed with any intestinal parasite, i.e. Cryptosporidiosis (Crypto) or, Giardia,  must refrain from using the pools for a period of 14 days after medication treatment is finished, and or 14 days after the last episode of diarrhea.  Counting 14 days from the latter of both diarrhea occurrence, and medication treatment.
