Therapeutic Recreation

Protocol:	Stimulation Group
Purpose:	To incorporate the senses in a therapeutic group to help elicit response from client
Facilitator:	CTRS
Duration:	1-2 units

Goals: To utilize sound to evoke a response from client To utilize sight to evoke a response from client To utilize touch to evoke a response from client To utilize smell to evoke a response from client To utilize taste to evoke a response from client Therapist will record a description of sensory stimulation used and the response by client after every group.
Participation Requirements: Resident of CMRC
Discharge Criteria: Discharge from CMRC
Precautions: Attendance is not permitted for those presenting with infectious/contagious diseases.
